These non-waterproof power supplies can easily be integrated into your electrical installation. They have a screw terminal block allowing you to connect the mains and your LED lighting. This type of power supply is mainly used on large LED installations.
The last category of LED power supply is that of waterproof models. These LED power supplies can be used both indoors and outdoors. They are, depending on the LED power supply model, their waterproof level is IP67.
This power supply is specially adapted to LED products. It is regulated and stabilized. Whatever the variations in the input voltage, it delivers a direct current at the output. Your LEDs are completely protected from any over or under voltage.
It can be used with any lighting fixture operating at 12 volts direct current (LED strip, slim LED neon, neon LED strip, etc.). This power supply is equipped with a screw terminal block for both the 220 volt electrical input and the 12 volt outputs. On the left side of the terminal block you screw the earth, phase and neutral.
If, however, your LED product is equipped with a connector (jack or other), you simply need to cut it and strip the two wires which you will then screw into the terminal block.
The installation of this type of power supplies is limited to professional users only. These power supplies must be knowingly recessed so that they are not accessible during use.
