In general, there are 4 types of installation options for 60×60 LED panels, 4 types for 120×30 LED panels (excluding recessed on Armstrong plaster): Recessed in Armstrong plaster (without accessories), Recessed in Moroccan plaster translational, Apparent and suspended (the last three require kits). Each type of installation is efficient and aesthetically pleasing, but each has its own advantages depending on where the LED panels will be installed.
On the exterior side, a recessed panel is thinner (around 1 cm), while the surface-mounted LED panel is thicker (around 5 cm), screwed using dowels to the ceiling.
Surface or suspended mounting is perfect for mounting LED panels in a location without a false ceiling (either Armstrong or Moroccan translational), for example a plaster ceiling.
